Today we are diving into the odd and highly fun world of GeekChicPrints and its owner, Cris, for the 2nd Day of our 25 Days Of Christmas Celebration!

GeekChicPrints is filled with funny and creative posters and digital art featuring famous faces as well as animals, funky creatures, spookiness, inspiration and unforgettable quotes!

From Nietzsche to "Game of Thrones", there is something for everyone's wall in Cris' shop!

In GeekChicPrints Shop you can also purchase scrapbook supplies and digital prints. Cris also offers a high-quality printing service, and takes custom orders for posters and digital art.

Tell us a little about yourself.

My name is Christina and I was born and raised in Long Island, New York.  I'm a 26 year old office manager by day and typography making whiz by night!

I love all things geeky and horror-centric. My favorite time of the year is fall and I just adore being able to see the leaves change and the days get shorter. I love Tarantino films and anything cat related!

What/who makes you laugh?

I'm a big fan of dirty humor, I can't help it! I really love edgy comics like Louis CK, Jim Jeffries, Jim Norton, and George Carlin.

What inspires you for your designs?

Just about anything! I'm always thinking of ways to incorporate funny, witty typography into my designs. It's also whatever moves me. One day it might be coffee, the next day it could be orcas! I love keeping it fresh and different.

What is the strangest thing you have ever created?

That's a very interesting question. I'd like to think all of my items are a little odd! I would say I never fathomed that I would be drawing a Motorola beeper!

Where are your customers located for the most part?

My customers have been located worldwide. I'm still a very new store and it's awesome to see that I have people purchasing my work from Michigan to the UK!

What are the top 3 tips you would like to share with new sellers?

1) Have patience! This is a business, it doesn't take off over night.
2) Study up on your SEO! (Search Engine Optimization)
3) HAVE FUN!!!

Are you a buyer on Etsy as well? What do you usually look to buy?

I LOVE shopping on Etsy. I really adore the variety of items that I can purchase. I purchase all of my jewelry here because I like to be very unique. I'm also a big fan of purchasing unique bath and beauty products - like pumpkin pie sugar scrub and banana walnut face scrub!
What is your personal favorite item from your shop?

My Audrey Hepburn poster is one of my favorites. I love the lilac shade I chose for it and the wonderful quote that I was able to use.

Thanks for interviewing with us today, Cris. SPST wishes you the best of luck with your Etsy business!
