30 Days of Thanksgiving

During the month of November, the Team members of the SPSTeam on Etsy were invited to post about the people and things they are grateful for. Every day, many people took the time to write very meaningful and heartwarming messages on our Team Forum!

We are thrilled to present a selection of some of the nicest, most sincere messages posted during the '30 Days of Thanksgiving' initiative. You can also see gorgeous handmade and vintage items sold by these team members in their awesome Etsy shops.

Hi, my name is Ildi. I really enjoy the process of making pottery: I sit down at a table with clay and try to make something that I have an imagination of. I want something and the clay wants something but in the end I can work until I am most satisfied with the outcome.

Crafty Saturday Show and Sell: Cyber Week Sale

Greetings to everyone who is participating in the SPS Team's Cyber Week Sale!

In an effort to reach even more new customers, the SPS Team blog is partnering with The Chilly Dog and All Things Etsy by co-hosting an extended version of their weekly Crafty Saturday Show and Sell link party.

If you are new to the idea of a link party, it's pretty simple. Each host blog has published a Crafty Saturday Show and Sell post, similar to what you are reading right now.

  • Just click on the blue "add your link" button at the bottom of the post.
  • You will then be prompted to enter the URL of the item you would like to share and the name of the link you are sharing. (You may also enter your e-mail address if you would like, but it is not required.)
  • Then just click the  "done" button.

Once you have added your item, it will be visible to readers of all three host blogs.

Typically, we ask that people only share one or two items from their shop at each week's link-up. However, since we want to help the SPS Team have a successful Cyber Week Sale, all shops participating in the event are welcome to post one item from their shop each day from November 28 - December 4.

Also, although our usual focus for Crafty Saturday Show and Sell is on handmade items, shops participating in the sale are welcome to share their vintage goodies, too.

Not participating in the sale? You are still more than welcome to share your shop items here.

Now, let's start linking!

My name is Ellen and I LOVE to design and create things. I find it deeply satisfying to start with nothing more than an idea and finish with a tangible, beautiful, functional piece of work. I enjoy learning new techniques that I can incorporate into my creations. I practice a variety of different art forms, but find I always have at least one knit, crochet or sewing project in progress.
