To me, fall is pretty awesome!!!

There is something so heart-warming about the crisp mornings, the days that look like gold, beautiful changing trees, crunchy leaves, noisy kids going to school, going apple picking, pumpkin patches... everything about fall simply makes my heart smile!

Why is it then, if this season with all its wonders makes we feel so good inside... the way we look on the outside tells a different story? Why is it that, as soon as Labor Day is over we start digging in our closets for all things black, brown or gray? Why do we have to look dark and gloomy?

Well, this year we don't have to!

Fashion experts say that colorful trends from spring and summer continue in the fall so everything stays bright and colorful. Purple, red, green and blue are big this season. They can be worn with neutrals or can be combined with a lot of different colors for a vivid, structured look.

Let's find out how you can look lovely with purple and red!

PURPLE

Purple is such a powerful color! Whether it's eggplant, violet, grape, indigo or even lavender... purple brings sophistication and richness to any outfit. Pair it with gold and silver, cream and brown or the basic black or gray.

If you're feeling bold and adventurous, if you really want to stand out in the crowd a purple cape is the way to go.

You want to keep your outerwear neutral and try something a little less dramatic, but have the same impact? A pullover or a dress in purple shades will turn all the eyes on you!

Not everyone wants to be the center of attention, I get it! Even so... there is no reason to go all black. Make your outfit shine with just a dash of purple by accessorizing.

RED

Red is IT this season – THE COLOR! It's everywhere! Whether burgundy, maroon oxblood or even brighter shades like poppy or tomato, whatever you have in the back of your closet that's red, bring it out!

Red is such a sensual color... related to passion, romance, blood... that it can be sometimes hard to pull off. Not to worry! You don't have to overdo it! This fall, red is used to make outfits shine in a way that is not too distracting. You may want to avoid the all-red look that's too distracting, but you cannot go wrong choosing just one red statement piece for your look.

A red sweater, a red skirt, will make you look edgy and youthful.
