2015 Cyber Week Sale

With less than two months until Christmas, it's time for the SPS to start planning our annual Cyber Week Sales Event. This year, the SPS  Team Cyber Week Sale will be held from November 27- December 3. This is a great opportunity to work with other Etsy sellers to promote each other on social media. Team leaders will also be promoting the sale on the Team Blog and our Team Social Media to bring you extra visibility.

How The Sale Works

The purpose of this sale is for us to work together, as a team, to help each other get views and sales.

Every shop that signs up will create a coupon code for the sale using the code CYBER15.

We all will be using the same code but each shop is responsible for assigning the value of the coupon; free shipping, 10% off, 15% off, etc. It's up to you to decide how to use the code for your shop. (Learn how to create a coupon code.)

Things to remember when setting up your code:

  • Codes cannot be edited. So please choose the value of your coupon wisely.
  • DO NOT DELETE YOUR CODE before or during the event. Deleted codes cannot be used again. If you delete your code early Etsy will not allow you make a new one using CYBER15

Threads to Watch in the team forum on Etsy:

Beginning November 1

  • Sign-UpLet us know you are planning to participate by sharing a link to your shop and the type of discount you will be offering.
  • Chat - This is where team leaders will explain the rules and you can post any questions. We will be around to answer your questions and help you out as much as possible.

November 20 - 26

  • Pre-Promotion - Shops list 5 items from their shop & heart the other items. Team Leaders will be using these items to promote them on Team Social Media.
  • Photo Collages - Each shop is being asked to make a photo collage of their items before the sale. Instructions on how to make one will be provided in the thread; along with free sites you can use to make one. There are sites that are easy to use. You select your background, upload your photo & the site makes the photo collage for you. If you are unsure how to make one and would like to do so we will gladly help you. (Photo collages are basically a mini treasury showcasing your items. You are creating a free ad for your shop; which is shared on social media. Shops who do create a photo collage will have the advantage of having them shared on the team’s social media.)

November 27 - December 3

  • Cyber Week Sale - There will be different activities throughout the event.
Day 1 - Promote treasuries created by leaders

                        Day 4 & 5 - Social Media

PRESENTED TO YOU BY OUR LEADER :

My name is Ellen and I LOVE to design and create things. I find it deeply satisfying to start with nothing more than an idea and finish with a tangible, beautiful, functional piece of work. I enjoy learning new techniques that I can incorporate into my creations. I practice a variety of different art forms, but find I always have at least one knit, crochet or sewing project in progress.
