The Active SM (Social Media) Promoters is a group of Etsy Shop Owners working together to promote our shops outside of Etsy. Monday - Friday we work together re-sharing each others social media posts by liking, tweeting, pinning, etc.
We use Social Media to help get healthy views and sales. You maybe thinking to yourself "Why bother with social media?" One benefit of social media is that it's another (free) platform to get your items noticed & advertise your shop. Even with great Titles, Tags & Photos your items still can get buried in Etsy's search. Social media is a way to get your items seen without relying solely on Etsy to get your items found. Some great tips on Social Media can be found on our blog : The Etsy Seller's Guide to Social Media . Imagine the following scenario. Mrs. X is scrolling through her social media feed. A post liked by one of her friends catches her eye. The post shows an item that would be a perfect gift for her nieces graduation. She clicks on the link where she is taken to your shop to buy that perfect item. While getting a sale may not be that easy, you could be missing out on the chance to get that sale by not using Social Media. We'd love for you to come & join us each month .
